Together, they worked on educational projects aimed at strengthening Jewish self-identity, as well as developing programs to promote democracy, tolerance, and intercultural dialogue.
As part of a scholarship from the Israel Network, supported by the EVZ Foundation, Ilona Martijn spent one month with Hashomer Hatzair Deutschland e.V. in Berlin. Her goal was to gain insights into the movement’s educational work and help prepare the upcoming summer camp focused on peace education.
Sharon came to Düsseldorf with a clear goal: to lay the foundation for a future youth exchange between WIZO Nir HaEmek and Düsseldorf. Supported by the Israel Scholarship Network, she visited WIZO Düsseldorf to work on this promising initiative.
