Maayan Shalem visiting 7xJung Museum Berlin
As part of the Netzwerk Israel Fellowship, funded by the EVZ Foundation, our fellow Maayan Shalem was able to complete an internship at the 7xJung Museum in Berlin, together with her partner Shaked Cohen. Both are members of the Tarbut Movement, a collective of artists and educators in Israel that promotes democratic education through art and dialogue.

Hashomer Hatzair Germany – A Report by Ilona Martijn
As part of a scholarship from the Israel Network, supported by the EVZ Foundation, Ilona Martijn spent one month with Hashomer Hatzair Deutschland e.V. in Berlin. Her goal was to gain insights into the movement’s educational work and help prepare the upcoming summer camp focused on peace education.

Meirav Meidan – Commitment to Remembrance and Education in the Hechingen Synagogue
As part of her Network Israel fellowship, Meirav Meidan dedicated herself to the work of the Old Synagogue in Hechingen. Together with the local initiative, she revised the exhibition on Jewish history and led workshops on the current situation in Israel and about antisemitism.

Netzwerk Israel thanks the readers and editorial team of Tagesspiegel for their support. The fundraising campaign provides €2,000 each to support AMCHA’s work with Holocaust survivors, Tzedek Centers’ efforts in communities under attack, and the dialogue project “Football for Peace”.
Tzedek Centers: Emergency Relief and Empowerment for Russian-Speaking Communities
Immediately after the terrorist attacks of October 7, the team from Tzedek Centers provided aid to mostly elderly, Russian-speaking individuals who had remained in targeted cities such as Sderot and Netivot. Today, the team led by Sasha Mijeritsky is focused on the long-term empowerment of Russian-speaking immigrants to Israel.
