With Netzwerk Israel – Solidarity with Civil Society, there is now a platform in Germany that brings together aid initiatives for Israel’s democratic civil society. In response to the extraordinary emergency following October 7, 2023, and the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, the network aims to support initiatives that assist Shoah survivors and their families, internally displaced people, and terror survivors in Israel, as well as projects that foster peaceful and equal coexistence between Jewish and Palestinian citizens. The network’s first campaign aims to draw attention to the situation of Shoah survivors in Israel and raise funds to support psychosocial aid programs. The excessive violence carried out by Hamas and other armed groups on October 7 has retraumatized survivors of the Nazi crimes and caused severe destabilization. Please support AMCHA in providing these individuals with tailored psychological care and social services.
We are also raising funds for Have You Seen the Horizon Lately, which helped establish a Jewish-Arab emergency aid center in Rahat immediately after October 7, and for Tzedek Centers, which have supported terror survivors and internally displaced people, ensuring that the affected communities are not left alone even seven months after the attacks.
